The Seaton Delaval Stakes was a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain which was open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It was run at Newcastle, and it was scheduled to take place each year in August.

The event was established in 1867, and it was originally called the Seaton Delaval Plate. It was named after Seaton Delaval, a village located to the north of Newcastle. For much of its history the race was contested over a distance of 5 furlongs.

When the present system of race grading was introduced in 1971, the Seaton Delaval Stakes was classed at Group 3 level. Its distance was extended to 7 furlongs in 1976. The race was last run in 1985.
